Adventure Racing, Coaching in Kayaking
In recent years we have had quite a bit of demand for kayaking coaching courses specifically aimed at adventure racers whether its the Coast to Coast in New Zealand, the Hebridean Challenge or the 70 Wild Miles or the Round Kerrera Oban Sea kayak race.
We are now running these courses on demand. They can be run at any time of year and involve work on reading the water, motor skills development includng efficient forward paddling technique and of course equipment.
We have a range of adventure racing kayaks for you to demo including the Kayakpro nemo, Kayakpro marlin, Valley rapier 20, Valley rapier 18. We also have a kayak Ergo ie a paddling machine which is great for working on forward paddling technique & fitness. The Kayak ergo is also great for competing with others eg see who can go the furthest in a fixed time.
We now also have a range of Racing Wing Paddles and contrary to popular belief these are very easy to use and help develop good forward paddling technique. We also have these for sale at very competitive prices.
