Oban Sea Kayak

We are now getting very close to finishing all building works. Its looking like a really good place to shop and hangout. National Kayak School’s sea kayaking in Oban area courses are running and are very popular. We are also getting some drop ins for a day or half day sea kayaking on Scotland’s beautiful West Coast. We have Tiderace Sea kayaks to demo & in stock and the Point 65 Container should have arrived in Grangemouth today. We still have a few 2nd hand sea kayaks for sale.We are 6-8 Argyll Street, Oban PA34 5SG (check us out on google map)

Coming south on the A85 from Glasgow bear left at the first roundabout into Dunollie Road. This becomes George Street at the Cinema, follow this until the Harbour appears on your right about 50metres on the left is a big Red sandstone building on the corner with Argyll Street. Turn into left into Argyll Street and we are the white or if Big Al has painted it ORANGE building on the right.

Coming into Oban from the Connel Bridge come down the hill into town bear left at the roundabout and continue pass the cinema

until you emerge into the HARBOUR AREA turn left after Pitlochry Knitwear & W H Smiths & the Nationwide & we are right there.

Opening hours, well every day except thursday (when we are closed) 9am-5.30pmish We will open early for people who want to rent sea kayaks and then catch a ferry.

Oban and the West Coast has had lots more stunning weather and it looks like more on the way. National Kayak School, has had some great trips including out through the Correyvreckan to the West End of the Garvellachs and also to Gigha. The Whisky 16 is most loved boat on the trailer by beginners, Tiderace Xplore s is most loved boat by the smaller paddler who has done a bit before. We are getting a whole load of new boats in next week when we do a trip south to pick up a new trailer. Enjoy this weeks photos.
