In the last year or two sit on top sales in Scotland have grown hugely and we now have a wide range in stock. These kayaks are proving very popular with Anglers and for people who are nervous about a sit inside kayak or who want to play without the need to learn to roll your kayak. They are very stable but if you should capsize you can simply flip them the right way up and scramble back on. Great kayaks for adults, kids and all the family.

KAYAKING IN BELIZE

We are closed for a few weeks while we head off to Belize for a white water kayaking trip for 5 days then 9 days sea kayaking and snorkelling and surf kayaking on the barrier reef.

The River was superb see photo below. A great place to be at this time of year when sea kayaking conditions in scotland arent ideal.

Some people obviously think its too cold to go sea kayaking but then again a day like today and it seems a pretty good idea

With easterly winds the west is very calm and very sunny. Little snow has fallen in the Oban area. We have been busy exploring Seil Island before we go into work. Here’s a few photos.

Now we are back in Scotland and hoping for a busy december before we head out on our next winter sea kayaking destination survey. Baja? Belize? Any suggestions?
