We have travelled a great deal kayaking all over the World on both the sea and rivers and we know what we would like our sea kayak outfitter to supply. Hopefully we are getting there.
For the experienced there is a basic Sea Kayak Rental in Scotland package which involves Sea kayak, paddle, bouyancy aid (pfd) and spray deck prices start at £30/day for a plastic and £45 for a composite. For 2012 many new kayaks and loads of new equipment.
We can easily equip large groups and provide a trailer.
For the inexperienced we have sit on tops to rent both singles and doubles. These are very stable and should you capsize they can easily be flipped the right way up and you just climb back on they come with paddle & bouyancy aid (pfd) and we also have inflateable & Foam roof racks to rent.
We realise that its becoming increasingly difficult to transport camping equipment etc by planes so we can now offer much more comprehensive packages. You will still need to provide your own sleeping bags (you could also for a few £’s get one in the local supermarket or Aldi, we are happy to be able to provide the rest. Includes thermrests, tents, pots, stove, eating & cooking utensils, camp chair, camping mat, towline, paddle float, pump, dry bags, drysuits.
We can also deliver your sea kayaks to hire for use on the Scottish Sea Kayak Trail or any other West Coast of Scotland Sea Kayaking Venue. This is a fast RIB that takes at least 10 sea kayakers all their stuff and of course their sea kayaks. So if you want to get out to somewhere remote the evening you arrive we can arrange this or you only have a few days and want to Explore the West Coast of Jura again we can arrange this (weather permitting).
