The New P&H Valkyrie

Plastic doesn’t have to be slow. This is the second new boat in plastic from P&H Kayaks for this year. The Valkyrie is a fast tourer with a hull reminiscent of a surf ski but with a flat spot under the paddler to give far more stability from a long thin boat than most will be used too. Its super fast with our friend Kate Duffus clocking an average speed of 9km/h for 4hrs on a paddle recently. Maybe its not your first boat but if you are the sort of person who likes to go on solo expeditions or are looking for something for fitness paddles but don’t want to spend the £3k on a Taran or Pace 17 or Surk Ski then this could well be the boat for you.
