Rental price list

Our basic single and tandem sea kayak hire packages consist of a sea kayak that fits your height and weight, plus a free paddle, buoyancy aid and spraydeck for each kayaker.

 
We have a range of models from different manufacturers such as Valley, North Shore, P&H & Venture Kayaks. If you would like a specific make / model let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to keep it aside for you, however please be aware that we can never guarantee a particular model, and if your preferred option is not available at the time of hire no refund would be offered.
 

Minimum hire period is 2 days unless you are hiring for a coached session with another provider. Please contact us for prices on rentals lasting more than 7 days.

Consists of 1 pump, 1 emergency shelter or towline, and 1 split paddle

Please note that safety equipment is only useful if you know how to use it. Particularly with a towline, it is your responsibility to check the equipment before setting off, and to familiarise yourself with its setup.

    We have available cags, wetsuits and neoprene shoes for hire. Please note we do not normally hire out clothing unless you are also hiring a kayak. Prices are per item.

    Drysuits may be available for hire, please contact us to discuss price.
      These attach to the car by means of straps going inside the vehicle through the front and back doors. They are not suitable for use in high winds, may not be compatible with all vehicle / boat combinations, and are generally only suitable for transporting one boat at a time. Their use may not be covered by rental vehicle policies so please check with your hirer. We are not responsible for any damage caused to vehicles by rented equipment.

      These collapsible trolleys allow you to wheel your kayak single-handedly. They’re really worth it if you’re planning on island-hopping (kayaks go free on Calmac ferries).

      Price is per trolley, including a strap:

      If you just need a trolley to get between the shop and Oban ferry terminal you can borrow one free of charge, as long as you bring it back before sailing.

      Gas is available for purchase locally. Mugs, cutlery and plates are available at no extra cost.
